Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager – Private Project will be responsible for driving sales growth through direct engagement with architects, builders, contractors, and project consultants. The ideal candidate will lead business development activities across the West Bengal region, focusing on expanding project-based sales, establishing strong relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets in the private project segment.
- Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with architects, builders, interior designers, contractors, and consultants to promote Varmora products.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation, proposal, negotiation, and closing of deals.
- Collaborate with channel partners and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the building materials and tiles industry.
- Provide inputs for pricing, product mix, and promotional activities based on regional market dynamics.
- Ensure regular follow-ups for payments and maintain healthy client relationships for repeat business.
- Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
- Work closely with internal teams including marketing, design, logistics, and technical support to ensure seamless client experience.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and architect meets to enhance brand visibility.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in project sales / institutional sales within tiles, ceramics, sanitaryware, or building materials industry.
- Proven network and relationships with architects, builders, and contractors in the region.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a regional sales team.
- Excellent understanding of project sales cycle, specification selling, and key account management.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹80, ₹100,000.00 per month
