Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Manage and motivate the regional sales team to meet individual and collective goals.
  • Identify and appoint new distributors, dealers, and key accounts to strengthen the distribution network.
  • Monitor primary and secondary sales, stock levels, and ensure effective demand planning.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Drive execution of trade marketing, promotions, and merchandising activities at the regional level.
  • Ensure proper implementation of company policies, pricing, and credit control measures.
  • Regularly review performance metrics, sales data, and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor brand visibility and distribution effectiveness.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Sales software.
  • In-depth understanding of FMCG sales channels (GT, MT, and Institutional).

Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
  • 10–12 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3–5 years in a regional leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of sales and revenue targets.
  • Market share growth and new outlet addition.
  • Distributor performance and secondary sales improvement.
  • Team productivity and retention.
  • Trade visibility and brand presence.
