- Corporate and Institutional Tie-ups:Identify and establish partnerships with corporations, industries, and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) for eye care services.
- Insurance and TPA Coordination:Liaise with TPA/insurance companies to enhance empanelment and facilitate seamless billing processes for patients.
- Referral Network Development:Build and maintain strong relationships with local clinics, primary care providers, and ophthalmologists to drive patient referrals.
- Outreach Programs:Plan and execute eye screening camps and patient education programs at corporate offices and community centers to promote services and increase patient footfall.
- Market Research and Strategy:Conduct research to identify new business opportunities, explore newer geographical areas, and develop strategic marketing and growth plans in alignment with hospital goals.
- Marketing and Branding:Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the hospital's brand presence and patient volume, often by representing the hospital at professional and corporate events.
- Lead Generation and Management:Generate new leads and manage the sales pipeline through field visits, meetings, and networking events.
- Proposal and Agreement Development:Prepare and present business proposals and agreements to potential partners and clients.
- Reporting:Track and report on the performance of business development activities to management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education:A graduate degree in a relevant field, such as Science, Pharmacy, or business
- Experience:Prior experience in sales, marketing, or business development, particularly within the healthcare or ophthalmology segment, is a significant advantage.
- Relationship Building:Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.
- Sales and Marketing Acumen:Ability to understand market dynamics, develop marketing strategies, and effectively promote hospital services.
- Organizational Skills:Capability to organize outreach events, manage multiple projects, and coordinate with internal teams for successful execution.
