
Business Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Lead to spearhead our client acquisition and revenue growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the advertising and creative industry, strong strategic acumen, and a robust network of marketing decision-makers.
This role requires a leader who can identify new business opportunities, develop tailored solutions for clients, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to convert leads into long-term business relationships. The candidate must demonstrate a track record of driving business growth in agency environments and be adept at both strategic sales planning and execution.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
- New Business Acquisition
• Identify, target, and convert high-potential clients across verticals.
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
• Conduct needs analysis and craft customized agency pitch presentations and proposals.
- Revenue Generation & Target Achievement
• Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads at all times.
- Client & Market Intelligence
• Research industry trends, competitor strategies, and client business challenges.
• Leverage insights to position the agency's offerings as solutions to client problems.
- Relationship Building & Networking
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CMOs, Brand Managers, CXOs).
• Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and relevant forums to promote visibility and expand network.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with strategy, creative, digital, and account management teams to ensure alignment on client needs.
• Act as the bridge between client expectations and internal deliverables.
- Sales Operations & Reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in CRM systems.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports on pipeline status, wins/losses, and forecasts to the leadership team.
• Continuously optimize sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• 11–15 years of experience in business development roles within creative agencies, digital marketing firms, or branding consultancies.
• Proven success in closing high-value deals and developing long-term client relationships.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of marketing and branding solutions.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
