
Business Development Executive

Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and goal-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team. The BDE will be responsible for driving admissions, promoting our courses (NDA, NEET, IIT-JEE, Foundation), and expanding our reach across schools, coaching networks, and parent communities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the education sector, especially related to defence and competitive exam preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the institute's courses for students from Classes, including NDA, NEET, IIT-JEE, and Foundation programs.
- Identify and generate leads through school visits, seminars, exhibitions, online channels, and partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and educational consultants.
- Conduct counselling sessions to guide students and parents on course offerings, career paths, and admission procedures.
- Organize and represent the institute at promotional events like education fairs, workshops, and webinars.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/enrolment targets.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute local campaigns (offline and online).
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM tools.
- Provide feedback to the academic and marketing teams for product improvement and market needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing is a plus).
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or counselling in the education or ed-tech sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students and parents.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel locally for meetings, seminars, and school visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with coaching institutes or education consultancies (NDA, NEET, IIT-JEE domain).
- Knowledge of the defence exam structure (NDA), CBSE curriculum, and competitive exam landscape in India.
- Familiarity with CRM software and lead management systems.
