Key aspects of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the System integration and testing & commissioning team.
  • Be responsible for the overall technical coordination of the project, including RAMS, system integration and interface management, system safety and safety certification of the systems on the project and testing & commissioning of the system as a whole.
  • Develop the interfacing strategy and planning for completing the systems interfaces activities.
  • Be a focal point with interface works package contractors and designated interface contractors and suppliers.
  • Perform impact analysis for the interface requirements and design changes and advise the impact of the changes to the management for decision making.
  • Be instrumental in RAMS analysis, setting RAMS targets for each system and ensuring that RAMS targets and objectives are achieved in the operational metro system.
  • Manage and offer real-time mitigation strategies for the interface resolution process.
  • Produce interface management plans and interface control documents for each of the system interfaces.
  • Prepare regular reports on progress and interface resolution issues and mitigation measures
  • Get fully involved in Oscillation Trials and final systems integrated testing, testing & commissioning and trial running of the System.
  • Assist client in obtaining the requisite approvals from MOR and CMRS certification for commencement of commercial operations on the corridor.
  • Provide support and training to the systems interface management team.
  • Contribute in preparation/finalization of relevant O&M manual and in planning the training for O&M staff of Client.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering; Masters Degree is an advantage.
  • At least 20 years of Professional experience.
  • Profound experience in Metro Rail project.
  • More than 5 years of experience in similar designation, e.g. in the same rank or equivalent in the General consultancy / General engineering consultancy / Project management consultancy / Independent engineers for project implementation authority for Metro rail projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more developed country.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in one ore more developing country.
  • Fluent English knowledge is required.
