We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Head of Business Development to lead growth initiatives across the Rest of the World (ROW) markets. The role involves identifying potential clients, building strong networks, and driving business expansion through innovative strategies and partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in business development within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences domain, combined with strong analytical and market research capabilities.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients in ROW markets and generate leads through multiple channels, including internet research, trade exhibitions, and professional networking platforms.
- Qualify, prioritize, and nurture leads into long-term business opportunities.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements, conduct meetings, and develop tailored business proposals.
- Define and execute business development and marketing strategies in close collaboration with management and internal teams.
- Represent the organization at international and national conferences to strengthen market presence.
- Build and maintain a robust professional network to unlock new growth opportunities.
- Research and analyze market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely and effective execution of product development aligned with client expectations.
- Drive execution of planned marketing activities and campaigns in coordination with the business team.
- Share market intelligence and industry insights regularly with business and leadership teams through newsletters, reports, and updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 4 to 15 years of proven experience in business development within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sector.
