Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Management:
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for permanent and contract/site employees.
- Verify and maintain documentation for all laborers and subcontractor staff in compliance with regulatory norms.
- Conduct joining formalities and ensure proper induction is provided at sites and HO.
- HRIS & Documentation
- Maintain employee master data in HRIS or ERP systems.
- Digitize and archive employee documents, contracts, and personal files
- Generate regular reports related to manpower, attrition, leaves, etc.
Compliance & Labour Law Management:
- Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, labour welfare, etc.) at all locations.
- Liaise with contractors to verify compliance under CLRA (Contract Labour Regulation and Abolition Act) and other labour laws.
- Assist in audits and inspections by government bodies.
Attendance & Payroll Support:
- Oversee biometric/attendance systems across sites.
- Collate attendance data for payroll processing and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with finance/payroll teams for timely salary disbursement.
Employee Support & Welfare:
- Handle employee grievances related to HR operations.
- Support implementation of welfare schemes (canteen, lodging, medical camps) at project sites.
- Assist in organizing training, health & safety workshops.
