Job Title: Revenue / OTA Executive
Department: Revenue Management / Sales & Marketing Industry: Hospitality (Hotels, Resorts, Service Apartments) Location: [To be filled] Reporting to: Revenue Manager / General Manager / Director of Sales & Marketing
Job Purpose:
The Revenue / OTA Executive is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue by managing the online presence and performance across all OTA (Online Travel Agency) platforms. This role is critical for ensuring rate parity, driving occupancy, and optimizing room revenue through efficient pricing, listing, and digital coordination. The executive will also support the revenue management team in formulating and implementing effective pricing and distribution strategies.
Key Responsibilities (KRA):
OTA Management & Distribution Strategy
Manage and maintain daily updates on all OTA platforms including , Agoda, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Expedia, Airbnb, and others.
- Ensure rate parity and availability across all channels by frequently monitoring OTA dashboards and channel managers.
- Create, update, and optimize property listings (content, amenities, descriptions, images, cancellation policies).
- Monitor and implement seasonal offers, discounts, and special promotions across platforms.
- Use Channel Managers (like STAAH, RateGain, eZee, or AxisRooms) to manage inventory and rates in real time.
Collaborate with OTA account managers for visibility enhancement, campaigns, and issue resolution.
Revenue Management Support
Assist the Revenue Manager in implementing dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, competition, and market trends.
- Perform daily rate shop analysis to track competitor pricing and positioning.
- Support in forecasting occupancy and revenue trends to make data-driven pricing decisions.
- Prepare and analyze daily pick-up reports, booking pace, and yield reports.
Recommend rate adjustments based on availability, lead time, demand pattern, and business on the books.
Reservation & Booking Coordination
Coordinate with the front office and reservations team to ensure proper room inventory and booking updates.
- Monitor last-minute cancellations, overbookings, and no-shows, and take action to fill rooms profitably.
Ensure that guest preferences, booking details, and special requests from OTA reservations are correctly communicated to operations.
Data Reporting & Analysis
Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports, including:
o Occupancy trends
o Average Daily Rate (ADR)
o Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR)
o OTA performance analysis (conversion rate, booking source, lead time, etc.)
- Identify trends and insights to optimize distribution strategies.
Track and improve guest feedback on OTA platforms.
Marketing & Visibility Enhancement
Work with the digital marketing team to improve OTA search visibility, ranking, and conversion rates.
- Optimize listings based on OTA algorithm preferences (e.g., quality score, responsiveness, guest review ratings).
- Support marketing efforts during festive seasons, events, or low-demand periods through OTA campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
Professional Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in revenue management, OTA handling, or reservation management in the hospitality industry.
- Prior experience in working with channel managers and OTA extranets is essential.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera, IDS, Cloudbeds, eZee FrontDesk, etc.
- Experience with Channel Managers like STAAH, RateGain, AxisRooms, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of OTA extranets , Agoda, MMT, Goibibo, Airbnb).
- Strong analytical skills; advanced user of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.

- OTA conversion rate improvement
