Job Title: Accounts & Purchase Executive

Location: Pune

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Purchase Executive to manage financial records, vendor relations, procurement processes, and support export-related documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate accounting, timely payments, efficient purchasing, and compliance with export procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts:

  • Maintain day-to-day accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports.
  • Closure of pending Bank Realization Certificates (BRCs) from previous years, ensuring compliance with RBI and export regulations.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Handle banking documentation related to export transactions (LC, BG, DD, SWIFT, export receipts, etc.)

Purchase / Procurement:

  • Source vendors and negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services to meet operational requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and purchase/procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of banking documents required for exports (LC, BG, SWIFT, export receipts, etc.) and related procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting and procurement/purchasing.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances is preferred.
  • Exposure to export documentation and international trade processes is a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other office applications.
