Job Title: Purchase Executive – Construction Industry
Location: Kothrud, Pune
Experience Required: 2–5 years (Construction industry preferred)
Qualification: Any Graduate / Diploma (Civil preferred)
Job Responsibilities:
· Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, hardware, etc.).
· Prepare and process purchase orders as per project requirements.
· Maintain cost control by comparing quotations and ensuring competitive pricing.
· Coordinate with site engineers to understand daily and weekly material requirements.
· Track and ensure timely delivery of materials to multiple project sites.
· Maintain vendor database, rate comparisons, and purchase records.
· Follow up for invoices, GRN, and coordinate with Accounts for payment processing.
· Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
· Resolve any supply issues or delays impacting project progress.
Required Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of construction materials and vendors.
Proficiency in MS Office, purchase software/ERP (optional).
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site demands.
Time management and coordination skills.
Salary Range: As per industry standards / Based on experience.
