Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and strengthening relationships with corporate clients and institutions. This role requires strong communication skills, market understanding, and the ability to translate client needs into tailored solutions that support our learning offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across B2B, B2C, and institutional segments, within domestic and international education markets.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive insights within the EdTech ecosystem.
  • Create proposals, pitch decks, and commercials tailored to client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, organisations, and institutional partners to generate sustainable business pipelines.
  • Engage with key decision-makers (Training Heads, Academic Advisors, etc.) to promote programs and solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end client engagement—from initial contact to onboarding and partnership execution.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, relationship nurturing, and account growth.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, admissions, and academic teams to create customized solutions for partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support lead conversion, proposal development, and program implementation.
  • Participate in cross-functional planning to enhance offerings based on client feedback and market needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and partnership details in the CRM.
  • Track KPIs, business pipeline, conversion ratios, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular business development reports for management.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (master's preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the education or training industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales and partnership targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Good understanding of education trends, training programs, and student recruitment processes.
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings, events, and partner engagements.
