Position: General Manager

Location: Thane (Ghodbunder road)

Requisites:

  • B.Pharm / M.Pharm / MBA (Operations / Pharma Management preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of pharma manufacturing processes, regulatory norms, and quality systems.
  • Proven ability to handle P&L responsibility and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on approach to operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Production Management

  • Oversee day-to-day plant operations ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with production, QA/QC, purchase, and logistics teams for smooth workflow.
  • Monitor efficiency, minimize wastage, and ensure cost-effective production.

2. Strategic Planning & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans for business expansion.
  • Identify new contract manufacturing opportunities and partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends and contribute to product and business diversification strategies.

3. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, WHO, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders for approvals and inspections.
  • Maintain documentation and quality standards across all departments.

4. Financial & Budgetary Control

  • Prepare annual budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.
  • Monitor P&L, optimize operational costs, and ensure profitability.
  • Approve major purchases and contracts within delegated authority.

5. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Foster a performance-driven, ethical, and collaborative work culture.
  • Build leadership pipelines and succession planning within the team.

6. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new business associations.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely delivery and quality assurance.
