The Role
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for generating new business leads and sales for the S & S Brokerage. This individual will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and logistics, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Promote logistics services, pitch to clients, and close profitable deals.
- Source new business leads through cold calling and referrals.
- Build strong client relationships and handle objections effectively.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Identify and develop new logistics opportunities across regions.
- Use CRM tools to track leads and manage client outreach.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, logistics coordination, or Customer Service
- Proven ability in lead generation through cold calling and CRM-based outreach.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, objection handling, and customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to manage cross-functional tasks.
