Role Introduction
As the Social Media Manager, you have to drive performance marketing strategies across paid social platforms. This role involves managing campaigns, optimizing budgets, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance brand visibility and lead generation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital advertising, audience targeting, and analytics to maximize ROI and campaign effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Performance Marketing
- Be at the forefront of Performance knowledge (PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Display, Social, and Analytics) by keeping up to date with industry news and developments.
- Contribute to developing new products and ways of working that improve SEM results.
- Build an understanding of the client's business and digital marketing objectives.
- Develop an understanding of the target audiences' attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions (with a focus on SEM), using a variety of market information and research data
- Develop an understanding of the various digital media channels (display, affiliates, social media) and the potential for them in your client's marketing activity.
- Develop positive relationships that reflect true partnership in achieving the objectives of the client's business and the goals of the client.
- Ensure all media schedules, forecasts, and recommendations are fit for the client and that it's easy for the client to access and review the work (e.g. URLs, passwords, formats, conference call details, etc)
- Ensure all campaign costs are accurately quoted and campaign forecasts are approved by the respective Manager.
- Help in preparation for and attend sales pitches as required
- Participate in and learn about social marketing and its impact on our clients.
- Leadership and Management
- Ensure that all client campaigns follow the internal process.
- Set and manage expectations of clients and internal teams, especially to ensure KKBC has the optimal time scale to deliver quality work and service.
- Maintain a full and detailed understanding of all recommendations and proposals.
- Ensure that all campaigns are executed according to plan through close collaboration with your stakeholders.
- Prepare and lead performance review presentations.
- Actively nurture the goal of making KKBC an enjoyable and extraordinary place for staff to work and for clients to engage with.
- Help to educate the clients on SEM strategies and tactics; engage clients in the world of digital communications by demonstrating its direct response, creative, and brand-building abilities.
- Other social media management duties as directed by the respective manager.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven track record in managing paid social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and TikTok.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ad bidding strategies, audience targeting, A/B testing, and budget optimization.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.) to measure and improve campaign performance.
- Ability to develop compelling ad creatives and messaging that align with marketing goals.
- Experience working cross-functionally with creative, content, and performance marketing teams.
- Familiarity with emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices in paid social media advertising.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills are a must.
