Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and digital analytics to optimize campaigns and foster relationships with our online community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content that resonates with target audiences, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities through social listening techniques.
  • Utilize tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer for scheduling posts and managing multiple accounts efficiently.
  • Conduct keyword research to enhance SEO efforts and improve content visibility.
  • Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the public relations team to ensure brand consistency across all communications.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook Advertising to boost reach and engagement.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media management.

Skills

  • Proficient in SEO techniques and keyword research for optimized content creation.
  • Strong skills in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating visually appealing content.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer for effective scheduling and analytics tracking.
  • Knowledge of public relations principles to maintain a positive brand image online.
  • Excellent content creation skills with an emphasis on proofreading for clarity and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with video editing software for producing engaging multimedia content.
  • Ability to analyze data from Google Analytics to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Strong relationship management skills to build rapport with followers and stakeholders.
  • A background in branding to ensure all communications align with company values.
