Position Overview

The Marketing Head will lead the integrated Marketing, Branding, and Sales functions to drive growth, visibility, and admissions across all campuses. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities to translate brand vision into measurable results. The ideal candidate is data-driven, creative, and experienced in managing multi-channel campaigns that blend digital marketing, offline initiatives, and institutional sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Execution

● Develop and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with organisational goals.

● Oversee digital, print, and BTL marketing activities to achieve lead, application, and registration targets.

● Manage and optimise ad campaigns across Google, Meta, and other platforms to ensure maximum ROI.

● Coordinate with creative, content, and digital teams to ensure unified messaging across all touchpoints.

● Track KPIs such as CPL, CPA, and conversion ratios, and report performance to the CMO regularly.

2. Branding & Communication

● Strengthen and safeguard The Academic City's brand identity across campuses and media channels.

● Lead storytelling campaigns that highlight student success, faculty achievements, and institutional milestones.

● Oversee creative direction for digital and print collaterals, website design, social media, and PR content.

● Drive internal branding initiatives and ensure consistent brand voice across all communications.

● Manage partnerships with agencies, influencers, and media outlets to expand brand reach.

3. Sales & Admissions Enablement

● Collaborate closely with Admissions and Operations to align marketing and sales funnels.

● Design and manage lead nurturing workflows (digital + telephony + CRM) to enhance conversion rates.

● Train and support sales teams with marketing collateral, pitch decks, and automated CRM tools.

● Set, monitor, and achieve monthly and annual enrolment targets through proactive planning.

4. Data, Analytics & CRM Management

● Oversee end-to-end CRM tracking for lead, application, and registration journeys.

● Generate actionable insights using data analytics to refine targeting and communication.

● Maintain transparency of performance metrics across departments for strategic alignment.

5. Leadership & Collaboration

● Manage a team of marketing executives, designers, content creators, and sales coordinators.

● Work cross-functionally with Academic, Operations, and Finance teams for holistic campaign execution.

● Foster innovation, accountability, and creativity within the marketing team.

Key Skills & Competencies

● Strong understanding of both digital and traditional marketing ecosystems.

● Expertise in performance marketing, brand management, and sales funnel optimization.

● Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).

● Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.

● Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

● Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Educational & Experience Requirements

● MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.

● 7–10 years of experience in integrated marketing, branding, and sales leadership roles (preferably in education, retail, or service sectors).

● Proven record of driving measurable business growth and brand visibility.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

● Lead Generation, Application, and Registration Targets.

● Brand Engagement Metrics (Reach, Follower Growth, Mentions).

● Cost per Lead (CPL) & Cost per Acquisition (CPA).

● Admission Funnel Conversion Rates.

● Campaign ROI and Lead Source Performance.

● Internal Team Efficiency and Campaign Turnaround Time.
