About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to identify new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth for our IT solutions and digital services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology solutions, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping businesses adopt modern IT products.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT services and solutions market.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, social platforms, events, and referrals.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and business cases.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Understand client business needs and recommend appropriate IT solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and manage post-sales follow-ups.
Market Research & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Develop sales strategies and growth plans for target markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, operations) to create solution packages.
Sales Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales records using CRM tools.
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Track sales KPIs and revenue targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in IT solutions.
- Strong understanding of software, IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, or digital transformation services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office.
