About the Role:
We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician to provide technical support and assistance to our employees and clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of IT problems, and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction. This role is the first point of contact for IT support within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, ticketing systems, or in-person.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, software, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with password resets, account setup, and user access management.
- Maintain and update IT support documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Monitor and ensure the health of desktop systems, networks, and software applications.
- Provide guidance and training to users on IT best practices and system usage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft MTA/MCP.
- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, or cloud-based productivity suites (Office 365, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and VPN access management.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
