We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Head to lead our Power Distribution Project Management Consultancy (PMC) business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, overseeing operations, ensuring project excellence, and managing client relationships while steering the overall business strategy in line with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Leadership: Lead and manage the entire Power Distribution PMC vertical, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute short-term and long-term business strategies to expand market presence and secure new projects.
- Project Management: Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, government agencies, utilities, and stakeholders to drive repeat business and enhance brand reputation.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve business targets and foster a high-performance culture.
- Financial Management: Manage P&L, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable growth.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Innovation: Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices and emerging technologies in power distribution and PMC services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering or related field with MBA (mandatory).
- Minimum years of experience in power distribution projects, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role within PMC or EPC companies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale power distribution projects.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, commercial contracts, and project financing in the power sector.
