We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with hands-on expertise in Service Portal, ITSM, ITOM, and deep troubleshooting capabilities. The ideal candidate should also have solid experience with various discovery types including Cloud Discovery, Pattern Discovery, and Network Discovery, and be proficient in resolving pattern-related issues and building integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the ServiceNow platform, particularly focusing on Service Portal, ITSM, and ITOM.
  • Implement and optimize Cloud, Pattern, and Network Discoveries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to discovery patterns, portal components, and integrations.
  • Develop custom widgets, UI pages, catalog items, and record producers using strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting capabilities.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and module enhancements.
  • Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and Service Portal.
  • Proven experience in Cloud, Pattern, and Network Discovery.
  • Solid background in troubleshooting discovery pattern issues and performance problems.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Excellent coding skills in JavaScript, Glide scripting, HTML, CSS, AngularJS (for Portal).
  • Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and integration hubs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS – ITOM/ITSM).
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to other ServiceNow modules like SecOps, GRC, or HRSD is a plus.
