About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions that streamline business processes and improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement custom solutions and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.

Configure and manage modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge, etc.

Develop and maintain Workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

Create and customize Service Catalogs, Record Producers, and SLAs.

Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, or other tools.

Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Perform upgrades and patching of the ServiceNow platform.

Maintain platform security, access controls, and role-based permissions.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and governance policies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

2–5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.

Strong understanding of JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow's scripting model.

Experience with at least one or more ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, etc.

Familiarity with ServiceNow integration tools (e.g., IntegrationHub, REST, SOAP).

Solid understanding of ITIL processes and principles.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required.

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other module certifications – a plus.

Experience with Service Portal, Flow Designer, and Performance Analytics.

Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines related to ServiceNow.

Experience with Scoped Applications and Custom App Development.

Prior experience in enterprise IT environments or regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.).

Job Type: Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹200, ₹300,000.00 per year
