Role: Senior ServiceNow Developer

Overall Exp: 8+ years

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in Service Portal development and advanced scripting proficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and Integrations, with a strong focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of ServiceNow Service Portal, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Develop custom widgets, pages, and advanced functionalities using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS.
  • Implement and configure ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, etc.).
  • Design and build integrations with external systems using APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and IntegrationHub.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex server-side and client-side scripts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in development, code quality, and ServiceNow platform governance.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 6+ years in ServiceNow development.
  • Strong expertise in Service Portal development (custom widgets, AngularJS, UI/UX).
  • Highly proficient in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS, HTML, CSS).
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB).
  • Proven experience in Integrations with third-party applications (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server).
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model, ACLs, and platform configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
