Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Group Head – Business Development & Media Servicing to spearhead new business growth & lead our Media Servicing operations for the most valuable clients.
This role demands a dynamic professional with exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship skills, a strong industry network across brands and media partners, and the ability to convert opportunities into long-term business.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth
- Drive business acquisition by identifying and converting high-value opportunities, leveraging your network across brands, media owners, and industry stakeholders.
- Build a robust pipeline of clients by presenting innovative media and marketing solutions tailored to business outcomes.
- Develop GTM strategies for scaling Hashtag Orange's media offerings across key sectors.
Media Servicing Leadership
- Lead and manage the Media Servicing team handling large clients across digital and offline platforms, ensuring excellence in delivery and client satisfaction.
Client Strategy & Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to CXOs, CMOs, and marketing heads of large enterprises.
- Craft compelling business and media presentations that influence senior decision-makers.
- Build enduring partnerships based on strategic vision, data insights, and business impact.
Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Identify emerging trends in the media ecosystem and integrate them into client and business strategies.
- Build relationships with media publishers, technology platforms, and partners to expand Hashtag Orange's service capabilities.
Core KPIs
- Annual new business acquisition and revenue growth
- Client retention and satisfaction
- Team development and retention
- Contribution to agency visibility within the media ecosystem
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
10–12 years in media strategy, client servicing, or business development in a leading media or integrated agency. Proven experience handling portfolios above ₹100 crore annually and managing C-level client relationships.
Expertise:
- Deep understanding of digital and offline media platforms and their strategic integration.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and programmatic platforms.
- Strong business negotiating, pitching, and presentation skills.
Leadership & Communication:
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated executive presence.
- Proven success in leading and scaling diverse teams.
Education:
Graduate or postgraduate degree in Marketing, Media, Business Management or Technology.
