Business Development Intern

We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Intern to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the "front face" of Doctors Placements, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and reaching out to potential clients (Hospitals, Medical Institutes, and Healthcare Organizations).

Role & responsibilities
- Client Outreach (Primary Role): Actively research and reach out to new Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Medical Colleges via Phone Calls, Emails, and LinkedIn.
- Lead Generation: Identify potential clients who need doctors or medical staff and introduce them to our placement services.
- Database Management: Build and maintain a clean database of decision-makers (HR Managers, Medical Directors, and Hospital Owners).
- Follow-Ups: Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective clients to convert leads into active requirements.
- Market Research: Keep an eye on new hospital openings, expansions, and medical institutes in your assigned region.
- Coordination: Assist the senior team in scheduling meetings and drafting proposals for interested clients.
Preferred candidate profile
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Hindi/Regional language is a plus).
- Personality:
- Confident: Comfortable speaking to senior authorities and doctors.
- Resilient: Ability to handle rejection and keep trying (Sales mindset).
- Self-Starter: Someone who can work without constant supervision.
- Tech Savvy: Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Social Media platforms (LinkedIn).
