Role Summary
We are seeking a Head of Sales to lead all sales operations, drive revenue growth, and expand market share. This strategic role requires a dynamic leader with a proven background in retail sales management, an in-depth understanding of the furniture industry, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine tactics. Set ambitious sales targets for the team.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development to foster a positive, results-driven culture.
- Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring a best-in-class experience for all clients. Build strong relationships with key clients, designers, and industry partners.
- Store Operations: Collaborate with merchandising and inventory teams to optimize product presentation and inventory levels. Stay current on industry and design trends.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, conversion rates, and gross margin. Prepare and present regular reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- 10+ years of proven sales management experience in a retail environment, ideally within the furniture or home furnishings industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Deep knowledge of furniture products, materials, and design trends.
- Proficiency with retail management software, POS, and CRM tools.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make informed decisions.
