Position Overview:
The Regional Head will be responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and team performance in their designated region. This leadership role requires strong strategic thinking, people management, and execution capabilities to ensure regional targets are consistently met in alignment with the companys objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement regional business strategies in line with the companys overall growth objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop entry strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on pricing, market penetration, and product positioning.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Drive regional sales targets through effective channel management (dealers, distributors, direct sales).
- Maintain and grow relationships with key stakeholders: channel partners, institutional clients, and project developers.
- Analyze sales trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies.
3. Operations & Performance Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations including logistics, warehousing, and supply chain coordination to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Monitor and control regional budgets, sales forecasts, and expenditures.
4. Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing regional team.
- Identify training and development needs; ensure continuous skill enhancement.
- Implement performance metrics and review systems to ensure accountability.
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Gather market insights on customer preferences, competition, and pricing trends.
- Provide regular updates and analytical reports to the corporate office on regional performance.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 12 to 18 years of experience in sales/operations roles, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership position.
- Strong background in steel, construction materials, or related manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
