ROLEPURPOSE & OBJECTIVE

  • Managingthe various business teams to Drive the Third-Party Productsbusiness & revenue for the assigned branches in the region.The Area Manager will be responsible for a minimum of 50branches.
  • Focuson Ensuring IRDA certification to all the branches with minimum 4or more per branch
  • Engagingwith CBH, RH, AMs, RBMs to deliberate on the Income lines acrossall the products and Regions Activation

  • Co-ordinatewith the Area SPOCs of the Insurance Partners for leads, logins,issuances and escalations

  • Handleassigned set of branches and drive TPP Business and Income
  • Workwith Branches to increase branch profitability

  • KEYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Business

  • Responsiblefor TPP business generation for the allotted cluster (minimum of50 branches)
  • Responsibleto ensure revenue generation from each of the branches of hiscluster.
  • Responsibleto ensure timely roll out of TPP business in all the branches ofhis cluster.
  • Ensure,supervise the correct implementation of the retail business

Customer

  • Buildingrelationship with all BMs and drive business through them
  • Responsibleto ensure that all the Branch Staff in the assigned branches areIRDA certified
  • Responsibleto coordinate with external Insurance representatives to stay upto date with their recent launches.

Internalprocess

  • Responsiblefor smooth operation of TPP business in branches
  • Responsibleto ensure that business is driven through compliant processes.
  • Responsiblefor ensuring implementation of Mandatory Display of the documents

Learning& Performance

  • Ensurethat all members of his team are up to date on all relevantcirculars and all products/services offered in the Branch
  • Evaluatethe staff competences in terms of promotion, business assessmentand credit risk assessment capacity and propose solutions forimprovement
  • Ensureadherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs forself and reportees
  • Ensuregoal-setting, mid-year review and annual appraisal process withinspecified timelines for self and reportees

  • Monitorperformance of staff against defined goals/metrics and takecorrective action wherever required; undertake disciplinary andattendance monitoring of Housing Loans team.

  • Graduate,preferably Post Graduation

Experience

  • 10to 15 years in sales

FunctionalSkills

  • Abilityto create teams and drive sales performance. Will be required totake complete ownership of the TPP business at sub-regionallevel.
  • Abilityto engage with customers, colleagues & insurance partners
  • Abilityto plan and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • TeamLeading Experience is highly preferred
  • Abilityto speak and read regional language(s)- is desirable. Ability tocommunicate in English (Read-speak-write) is required. Has goodverbal fluency and uses simple, clear and purposeful language.
