Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Business Head / Head of Sales to take full ownership of Santerra's business operations, sales, and strategic growth. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company, from sales strategy and product management to team leadership and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional from the FMCG/hygiene industry with a proven ability to scale a business across both B2B and B2C markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Management:

  • Develop and execute the overall business strategy for Santerra to achieve aggressive growth targets and market leadership.
  • Take full P&L (Profit & Loss) responsibility for the company, managing budgets, and ensuring profitability.
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations, including team management, to ensure efficiency and productivity.

2. Sales & Business Development:

  • Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies for all channels, including:

  • B2C: Modern trade, general trade (retail), and e-commerce platforms.

  • B2B: Institutional clients, corporate partners, distributors, and bulk purchasers.

  • Personally lead high-level negotiations with key clients and distribution partners.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear targets and providing ongoing coaching.

3. Product Portfolio Management:

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle and strategy for our complete range: tissue products, baby diapers, sanitary pads, and wet wipes.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for new products and market expansion.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and promotions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, and general management within the FMCG, personal care, or hygiene products industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Must have a demonstrated history of successfully building and leading a business unit or company.
  • Channel Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience developing both B2B and B2C sales channels is essential.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Skills: Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, communication, and financial management skills.
