Job Description: National Sales Head – Residential & Small Projects
Location:
Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh
Reports To:
Sales Director
Role Overview
We are seeking a
dynamic, self-motivated, and highly experienced sales leader
to head our national sales operations for
residential and small projects
. The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth, managing performance of BDMs across multiple cities, and ensuring effective coordination with Zonal Sales Managers (ZSMs).
This is a
senior leadership role
that requires a strategic thinker with a
go-getter attitude
, exceptional people management skills, and a proven ability to achieve ambitious sales targets in the building materials, furniture, interiors, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute national sales strategies for residential and small project segments.
- Drive revenue growth in alignment with organizational goals.
- Team Management & Coordination
- Lead and mentor a team of
BDMs stationed in different cities
. - Coordinate and review performance with
ZSMs
, ensuring targets are met regionally and nationally. - Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement.
- Market Development
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and project-based clients.
- Build and strengthen relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and channel partners.
- Travel & Field Engagement
- Regular travel across regions to monitor market dynamics, support the sales team, and close key deals.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor sales performance metrics and report to top management.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and timely MIS reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience:
Minimum
15+ years
of sales experience, with at least
5 years in a senior leadership role
. - Industry Preference:
Building materials, furniture, interiors, architecture, or allied industries. - Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Go-getter attitude
with the ability to drive performance. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Meticulous, target-driven, and self-motivated.
