Overview
We are looking for a
Senior Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager
with a strong background in
eCommerce and IT services sales
. The ideal candidate will have
3–6 years of experience
in international business development, preferably with exposure to
US or European clients
. This role involves
team leadership
, strategic business growth, and opportunities to
engage with clients across the globe
.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business opportunities through lead generation, client outreach, and strategic partnerships.
- Pitch IT and eCommerce services (Magento, Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, etc.) to global clients.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with international clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Handle the complete sales cycle — from prospecting and proposal creation to negotiation and closure.
- Lead and mentor a small sales team to achieve department goals and targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, project delivery, and management) for seamless execution.
- Identify market trends, competitor strategies, and client needs to refine sales approaches.
- Participate in client meetings and represent the company at global events when required.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and prepare regular reports on pipeline and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in business development or sales in the IT/eCommerce industry.
- Proven success in handling US or European clients.
- Prior team management or mentoring experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and business events.
