We are having an excellent opportunity for Construction Proposal Engineer.

Location- Navi Mumbai (Ghansoli)

Availability for travel ( short term and long term basis )

Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare construction technical and economic proposals for tenders and private bids.

Define cost benchmark for erection of ACCs. I

nstallation sites will be located globally.

  • Analyze client technical and administrative specifications, identifying key requirements of the construction project.
  • Review, analyze construction contractor capabilities, capacity, setup, facilities, tools to carry out scope of work.

Check and ensure deployment of manpower, tools and tackles in line with the project schedule to the required site.

  • Define and size the necessary resources (personnel, equipment, subcontracts, timelines) for the execution of the project.
  • Prepare a Construction Schedule including activities and resources, method statements, execution methodology, safety protocols.
  • Assess construction risks and propose mitigation measures.

o Coordinate with the multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency between the design, execution strategy, and budget.

  • Securing a proper HSE complying with John Cockerill Group golden rules.
    • Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to clarify project details and assess risks.

o Coordinate and actively work with the Sales Regional Managers to provide quotations on time, with quality and adapted to the clients needs.

o Work at project sites if required (on intermittent basis) as Technical Field Advisor for the construction company.

  • Support the project execution team as required.
  • Setup standard processes and procedure for construction of Wet and Dray Cooling towers. Education & Experience
  • Education: Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineer, or similar.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in similar position and prior to it, 8 years as Construction Engineer at project site preferably in the construction of industrial plants, cooling systems, or large steel structures.

o Languages: Technical English o Availability for travel ( short term and long term basis )
