*Job Title:* HR Executive / HR Officer

*Department:* Human Resources

*Location:* Puducherry

*Experience:* 2 5 Years (Preferably in Hotel / Hospitality Industry)

*Qualification:* MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent

*Job Summary:*

The HR Executive will oversee the daily HR operations of the hotel, ensuring efficient employee management, compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work culture. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in hospitality HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, training, and employee relations.

*Key Responsibilities:*

*1. Recruitment & Staffing:*

* Manage end-to-end recruitment for all hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, Maintenance, etc.).

* Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower requirements.

* Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and issue appointment letters.

*2. Employee Onboarding & Induction:*

* Handle joining formalities and documentation.

* Organize induction/orientation sessions for new hires.

* Maintain updated employee records and HRMIS data.

*3. Attendance & Payroll Management:*

* Monitor attendance, leave records, and time sheets.

* Coordinate with accounts/finance for monthly payroll processing.

* Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).

*4. Training & Development:*

* Identify training needs and arrange internal/external training programs.

* Support staff development and cross-departmental training initiatives.

*5. Employee Relations:*

* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

* Handle grievances, disciplinary issues, and employee counseling.

* Conduct employee engagement and welfare activities.

*6. Compliance & HR Policies:*

* Ensure adherence to labor laws and hotel HR policies.

* Maintain statutory records and support audits.

* Prepare HR-related reports for management review.

*Skills & Competencies:*

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Knowledge of hotel industry HR practices and labor laws.

* Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.

* Ability to multitask and handle confidential information.

* Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
