Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Travel Agent to join our team in Jaipur. This is a full-time position requiring 1-3 years of work experience. The role involves supporting clients in organizing travel arrangements, providing exemplary customer service, and executing successful travel itineraries.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Itinerary Planning (Mandatory skill): You are expected to meticulously plan travel itineraries with the ability to tailor them to client needs and preferences.
  • Sales (Mandatory skill): You should leverage your persuasive sales skills to recommend travel products and services that enhance client experiences.
  • Communication (Mandatory skill): Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively interact with clients and partners.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure booking accuracy and to avoid errors in travel arrangements.
  • Booking Management: Experience in managing and coordinating all aspects of travel bookings including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Travel Documentation: Proficiency in handling necessary travel documentation, such as visas and travel insurance, is vital.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by understanding client requirements and offering relevant travel advice.
  • Problem Solving: You are required to efficiently resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise during clients' trips.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their travel needs and provide them with tailored travel solutions and expert advice.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive itineraries which suit the needs and budget of the clients for varied destinations.
  • Handle the end-to-end booking process including tickets, accommodation, transport, and excursions.
  • Provide clients with detailed and up-to-date travel information, including local regulations and travel advisories.
  • Maintain accurate client records and manage any changes to itineraries promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist clients in managing travel-related issues, including changes in schedules, cancellations, and emergencies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay informed about the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry developments to better serve clients.
