Reservation Executive

Role & responsibilities
- Handle all room reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels promptly and professionally.
- Ensure accurate entry of booking details into the hotels PMS (Property Management System).
- Communicate room availability, rates, and special packages to guests and travel partners.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
- Respond to guest queries, modification requests, and cancellation inquiries with courtesy and clarity.
- Maintain an updated record of booking sources and assist in room inventory management.
- Support Revenue and Sales teams in implementing yield management strategies and promotional offers.
- Follow up on pending payments and confirmations for FITs, corporate, and travel agent bookings.
- Ensure all reservations are handled in line with hotel policies and brand standards.
- Provide exceptional guest service, aligning with The Johris reputation for heritage hospitality and personalized experiences.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Reservations or Front Office, preferably in a luxury or heritage property.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in PMS (preferably Opera, IDS, or similar) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and guest-oriented mindset.
