  1. Primary Responsibilities

  2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  3. Source, screen, and interview candidates.
  4. Prepare job descriptions and job-posting materials.
  5. Coordinate onboarding (induction/orientation) for new hires.
  6. Employee Relations
  7. Address employee grievances and mediate conflicts.
  8. Promote a positive and inclusive working environment.
  9. Policy & Compliance
  10. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  11. Ensure legal compliance with labour laws.
  12. Performance Management
  13. Design and manage performance appraisal systems.
  14. Work on feedback mechanisms and performance improvement plans.
  15. Training & Development
  16. Assess training needs.
  17. Organize and run training programs.
  18. HR Operations / Administration
  19. Maintain employee records (attendance, personal data, contracts).
  20. Handle HR documentation such as employment letters, relieving letters, etc.
  21. Compensation & Benefits
  22. Administer employee benefits, salary processing, and deductions.
  23. Work on compensation-benefit policies.
  24. Reporting & Analytics
  25. Prepare HR metrics and reports for management.
  26. Analyze workforce data to identify trends and suggest improvements.

  27. Skills RequiredHard / Technical Skills

  28. Strong understanding of HR principles, labour law, and compliance.

  29. Experience with HR software / HRIS systems.
  30. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  31. Knowledge of payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.

3. Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Conflict-resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking — aligning HR activities with business goals.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail (since they handle policies, records).
  • Emotional intelligence — understanding employee needs is very important.

  • Qualifications / Educational Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is common. Expertia

  • Experience in HR operations or related roles is often required (sometimes 2–3 years or more, depending on the company).
  • Knowledge of labour laws, HR software, and performance management systems is typically expected.
