Job description : Business Development Manager (preferably women)

Location: Coimbatore (On-site)
Industry: Container Desiccants (Moisture Control for Cargo)
Target Clients: Food exporters, pharma logistics, chemical manufacturers, shipping companies
Key Responsibilities of BDM
A. New Business Acquisition
Identify & target potential clients in food packaging, pharma, logistics, and chemical storage.
Generate leads via LinkedIn, trade shows, and industrial directories.
Conduct product demos and negotiate contracts with shipping/logistics firms.
B. Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with exporters, freight forwarders, and warehouse operators.
Provide customized desiccant solutions based on cargo type (food, electronics, chemicals).
C. Market Research & Strategy
Analyze competitors (Silica Gel, Clay Desiccants, etc.) and pricing trends.
Identify new verticals (e.g., electronics, agriculture) for moisture control needs.
Achieve annual sales (depends on order sizes).
Collaborate with R&D team for client-specific product modifications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience: 0–2 years in B2B sales (packaging, logistics, or industrial chemicals).
Skills: Negotiation, CRM tools (Zoho/Salesforce), cold-calling.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry / MBA / B.Tech (Chemicals/Packaging preferred).
