The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving the hotel's revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and maximizing room sales, banquets, and other hotel services. The BDM will develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve occupancy and revenue targets for a hotel with more than 50 rooms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and secure new corporate, group, and travel trade accounts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, event planners, and corporate clients.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and hotel site inspections.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts to achieve room and banquet revenue goals.
  • Develop seasonal and long-term sales strategies to increase occupancy and average room rate (ARR).

2. Revenue & Market Analysis

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Manager and General Manager to forecast demand and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports, revenue analysis, and business performance summaries.

3. Marketing & Promotion

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, online strategies, and partnerships.
  • Participate in travel fairs, trade shows, and networking events to promote the hotel.
  • Ensure consistent brand visibility and adherence to the hotel's marketing standards.

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and handle guest or client concerns professionally.
  • Build long-term business relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Manage key accounts and ensure timely follow-up on leads and proposals.

5. Team Collaboration

  • Work with the front office, reservations, and banquet teams to ensure smooth coordination of group bookings and events.
  • Support training and mentoring of junior sales staff when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
