About the Role

Hotel Vivek, a leading name in the Coonoor–Ooty hospitality circuit, is seeking an ambitious and result-driven Business Development Manager to lead our sales and revenue growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in hotel sales, corporate tie-ups, and event-based business development to enhance occupancy, build strong partnerships, and drive profitability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional with a passion for hospitality and a proven ability to turn relationships into revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize room bookings, banquets, and special event revenues.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event organizers, and wedding planners.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for corporate, leisure, and group bookings.
  • Identify new market opportunities and innovative channels for business expansion.
  • Collaborate with operations and front-office teams to ensure top-notch guest satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in hotel or resort sales (mandatory).
  • Strong network within the hospitality, travel, and corporate sectors.
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the Coonoor–Ooty hospitality market and regional tourism trends.
