Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fashion Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in a competitive fashion retail or wholesale environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fashion trends, customer buying behavior, and strong leadership skills to manage a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand market share.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients (B2B and/or B2C depending on context).
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform buying and merchandising decisions.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients, retail partners, and distributors.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and in-store events.
  • Oversee visual merchandising and ensure alignment with brand identity and sales objectives.
  • Stay updated on fashion trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
  • Manage pricing strategies, discounting, and product positioning for optimal profitability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (1–2 + years) in fashion sales, retail management, or wholesale distribution.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of fashion retail, merchandising, and customer behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in CRM software, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in luxury or contemporary fashion brands.
  • Existing network of fashion buyers, distributors, or retail contacts.
  • Ability to travel (if managing regional or national sales).
