Position Overview
The Offshore US Patient Calling Specialist will be responsible for engaging directly with US-based patients and clinics, scheduling appointments, managing follow-ups, confirming visits, and ensuring high-quality patient communication and satisfaction. The role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and familiarity with healthcare operations.
This is a remote position working US business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Communication & Scheduling
- Make outbound calls to US-based patients for appointment reminders, confirmations, and follow-ups.
- Handle inbound calls from patients regarding scheduling, inquiries, and service support.
- Coordinate with clinic staff to manage daily patient schedules efficiently.
- Data Management
- Accurately enter and update patient data in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or scheduling system.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Patient Engagement & Support
- Provide information on clinic locations, appointment requirements, and care instructions.
- Address patient concerns with professionalism and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
- Operational Coordination
- Collaborate with the US operations team to align on daily patient call targets and deliverables.
- Share daily call reports, appointment confirmations, and feedback summaries with the US operations lead.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written (neutral accent preferred).
- Prior experience in US healthcare, patient calling,
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with EMR or CRM systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and active listening.
- Ability to work night shifts aligned to US time zones.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting daily call and reporting targets.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with wound care, primary care, or specialty clinic patient interactions.
- Prior offshore US healthcare process experience (1–3 years IS A MUST ).
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and US healthcare terminology.
Work Schedule
- Shift: US working hours (Evening/Night IST)
- Work Type: Remote
- Days: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend support based on clinic needs)
