Job Description Business Development Executive (General Staffing)

Location:  Delhi Bangalore Mumbai Pune Kolkata

Experience: 2 3 Years in Non-IT Staffing sales

Employment Type:   Full - Time, work from Office

Role Overview

We are seeking dynamic and motivated professionals to drive business growth in our Non-IT Staffing vertical. The role involves acquiring new clients, managing relationships, and supporting end-to-end manpower outsourcing solutions across sectors such as logistics, e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, BFSI support.

Key Responsibilities  

Identify and acquire new clients for Non-IT staffing, contractual manpower, and workforce outsourcing services.

Generate qualified leads through cold calls, client visits, social media outreach, and referrals.

Understand client requirements for blue-collar and entry-level white-collar roles, and propose suitable solutions.

Work closely with internal recruitment/delivery teams to ensure timely and quality fulfillment of client mandates.

Build and maintain long-term client relationships to generate repeat and referral business.

Conduct regular market mapping to identify new business opportunities and competitor activities.

Achieve individual sales targets as per quarterly and annual goals.

RequirementsRequired Skills & Competencies (Detailed

1. Domain Knowledge

Clear understanding of Non-IT industries such as logistics, retail, manufacturing, BFSI, and e-commerce operations.

Familiarity with blue-collar, grey-collar, and entry-level white-collar manpower categories.

Basic knowledge of contract staffing models, compliance, and billing structures (OT, PF, ESIC, etc.). 

2. Business Development Skills

Proven ability to generate and qualify leads through market research and networking.

Strong client acquisition and negotiation skills.

Experience in creating custom proposals and understand pricing models based on client requirements.

Ability to manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure and handover to delivery.

3. Communication & Interpersonal Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication for client interaction and documentation.

Confident in presentations and business discussions with HR and procurement teams.

Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain professional relationships.

4. Analytical & Strategic Thinking

Ability to understand client pain points and propose customized staffing solutions.

Strong analytical mindset to assess market trends and competitor positioning.

Capable of developing account expansion plans for existing clients.

5. Organizational & Coordination Skills

Strong ability to coordinate internally with delivery and operations teams to ensure timely service.

Effective time management to handle multiple client accounts and priorities.

Attention to detail in proposal drafting, documentation, and follow-up.

6. Personal Attributes

Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent.

Positive attitude with a customer-centric mindset.

Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.

Strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Education

Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in Marketing/sales  or HR preferred but not mandatory).
