Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced People Services Specialist to support our People operations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Operating from India, this role plays a critical part in delivering consistent, efficient, and employee-centric PEOPLE services, ensuring compliance with regional labour laws and internal policies, and supporting tools such as Workday and ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Operations Support:

  • Execute day-to-day People Services tasks covering the employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, exits, contract changes, benefits, leave management, etc.).

  • Manage and resolve employee inquiries and cases via ServiceNow, ensuring SLA compliance and employee satisfaction.
  • Review and validate documentation for local compliance and audit readiness.

  • Regional Coordination:

  • Ensure alignment of processes with global People Services standards while accounting for country-specific regulations (India, Singapore, Australia, Philippines, etc.).

  • Act as the first point of contact for escalation of complex cases or exceptions requiring coordination with in-country teams.
  • Support benefits administration and country-specific documentation needs (e.g., tax forms, visa letters, etc.).

  • Process Improvement & Standardization:

  • Support the alignment of local processes with global standards while considering local compliance.

  • Contribute to process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to improve service delivery and training.
  • Support internal controls and audit processes by ensuring data integrity and compliance with legal and policy requirements.
  • Prepare and validate People reports, trackers, and dashboards for stakeholders across APAC.

  • Project Support:

  • Participate in regional and global People Services projects (e.g., system enhancements, transitions, automation).

  • Support data audits, reporting, and service metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Employee Experience:

  • Ensure a high-quality employee experience through timely communication, empathy, and consistent service.

  • Promote the use of self-service tools and knowledge resources to drive adoption and reduce manual touchpoints.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in an HR Shared Services or People Operations role, preferably in a regional or global context.
  • Hands on experience with Workday and ServiceNow is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of PEOPLE practices and employment laws in key APAC countries (e.g., Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, India, Philippines).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to work across time zones and in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a multinational company or supporting multi-country People processes.
  • Proficiency in additional APAC languages is a plus (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Bahasa).
  • Continuous improvement mindset and experience with Lean/Agile practices.
