We are looking for a
Business Development Manager
who can lead our entry into this market, build strong relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Role Overview
The
Business Development Manager (Bangalore)
will be responsible for expanding Magsmen's footprint in the Bangalore market. This includes building networks, acquiring clients, nurturing partnerships, and shaping how Magsmen is positioned in the ecosystem. The role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, entrepreneurial, and passionate about scaling a premium consulting business.
Key Responsibilities
Market Entry & Positioning
- Act as the
face of Magsmen in Bangalore
, representing us at meetings, events, and forums. - Build and execute a market entry plan for the city.
- Identify high-potential industries and client segments aligned with Magsmen's services.
Business Development
- Generate new leads through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Own the
end-to-end sales cycle
: from prospecting to proposals, negotiations, and closures. - Build and maintain a pipeline of strategic accounts.
- Drive revenue targets for the Bangalore market.
Partnerships & Networking
- Build connections with
founders, CXOs, investors, accelerators, and incubators
. - Explore partnerships with ecosystem enablers (coworking spaces, startup communities, industry bodies).
- Represent Magsmen at conferences and ecosystem gatherings.
Market Intelligence & Collaboration
- Track competitor activities and share insights for local positioning.
- Work closely with the Hyderabad HQ to align proposals, pricing, and delivery.
- Share regular market feedback to refine our strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in
business development, partnerships, or client acquisition
. - Strong network in the
Bangalore startup/corporate ecosystem
. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and own outcomes.
- Previous experience in consulting, SaaS, or premium services will be an added advantage.
