About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven
Sales Manager
to lead our business development efforts in
West Bengal and Eastern India region
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling
UPS systems / Power backup solutions
, and a proven ability to build and manage customer relationships across industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors. The candidate should have good techno-commercial knowledge with strong sales acumen, marketing capabilities, good communication & analytical skills.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):

  • Engineering Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, MBA (Marketing) or Science Graduate.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in B2B sales in the UPS or power solutions industry
  • In-depth knowledge of UPS systems, batteries, power electronics, and backup solutions
  • Experience in working with consultants, institutional bodies and end-users (IT, process, and industrial).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively

Job responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for the continued growth of sales and account operating profitability.
  • Prospect & generate new customers, achieving sales objectives in IT, Govt., Healthcare and Industrial Segments
  • Empanel Product line with major OEM and manufacturing companies.
  • Gathering market intelligence for Identifying Potential Customers, understand customer requirements & offer right solutions
  • Manage opportunities in specific verticals and develops relationships with top customers and decision makers in the major accounts
  • Develop close relationships with Electrical & Project Management consultants, to foster exclusive mind-share/ loyalty and drive the market.
  • Manage and develop relationships in the accounts for the long term levels
  • Conduct sales promotional events, training etc
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, service, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence
