Requirements

We are hiring an experienced Area Sales Manager with a strong background in Loan Against Property (LAP), with a focus on prime ticket size loans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for business development and sales generation through DSA sourcing and direct sales, focusing on mortgage loans, secured loans, and loan against property products. This role demands a deep understanding of LAP products, market dynamics, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive business growth for Loan Against Property (LAP) in the assigned region by meeting and exceeding monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Focus on prime ticket size LAP loans, ensuring quality customer onboarding and minimal delinquency.
  • Develop and manage a strong network of DSAs (Direct Sales Agents) and connectors for high-quality lead sourcing.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, property consultants, and builders to support loan sourcing.
  • Identify new business opportunities in secured lending and build strategic partnerships for long-term growth.
  • Handle end-to-end loan sourcing, documentation, client evaluation, and coordination with credit and operations teams for smooth processing.
  • Track and monitor DSA performance, provide regular training, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely disbursement and address any operational challenges.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client issues quickly and professionally.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales within the LAP / mortgage loan / secured loan segment, with a proven track record in prime LAP sourcing.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing DSA networks and generating substantial business through channel partnerships.
  • In-depth understanding of secured loan underwriting, disbursal processes, documentation, and compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, loan origination software, and sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to travel across the assigned territory as per business needs.
