Looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Container Freight Station (CFS) operations at Paradip. This is a Leadership Role for someone with strong expertise in port logistics and CFS operations, capable of driving efficiency, managing P&L and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead overall CFS operations including EXIM cargo handling, container yard management, and documentation.


• Ensure strict compliance with Customs and Port regulations.


• Drive cost efficiency and operational excellence while maintaining service quality.


• Manage stakeholder relationships with Customs, Shipping Lines, CHAs, Transporters, and Regulatory bodies.


• Oversee P&L, budgeting, and business development for the CFS.


• Lead and mentor a team to deliver high performance and safe operations.

Candidate Profile


• 15+ years of experience in CFS/ICD/Port operations with at least 5 years in a senior management role.


• Strong understanding of EXIM trade, Customs procedures, container logistics, and regulatory framework.


• Proven track record in managing large-scale operations and handling P&L responsibility.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


• Based in or willing to relocate to Paradip, Odisha.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Head, CFS (Container Freight Station) located in Bhubaneswar. The Business Head will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing and leading CFS activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, meeting operational and financial targets, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Duties also include developing and implementing strategic plans, managing staff, and coordinating with stakeholders to optimize performance.

  • Experience in Stevedoring, Cargo Handling, and Port Operations
  • Proficiency in Vessel Owning & management, Custom House Agency, and C&F Activities
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent strategic planning and operational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of achieving financial and operational targets
  • Relevant degree in Business, Logistics, or related fields
  • Experience in the logistics or shipping industry is a plus
