Role Overview

The Head of Quality will lead and strengthen the hospital's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with NABH 6th Edition standards, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement, patient safety, and operational excellence. This leadership role requires strategic vision, clinical insight, and hands-on expertise in accreditation and quality governance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the hospital's NABH accreditation and re-accreditation processes.

Implement and monitor a robust Quality Management System (QMS) across all departments.

Conduct internal audits, Root Cause Analyses (RCA), and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Track clinical indicators, patient satisfaction, and safety outcomes through regular reviews.

Design and oversee quality improvement initiatives and capacity-building programs.

Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to healthcare standards.

Supervise infection control, medication safety, and bio-medical waste management programs.

Collaborate with departmental heads to develop and standardize policies and SOPs.

Present quality reports and performance metrics to the CEO and Executive Committee.

Desired Profile

Minimum 10 years of experience in hospital quality management, preferably in NABH-accredited organizations.

Strong knowledge of NABH 6th Edition, patient safety, and risk management frameworks.

Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Experience with digital quality dashboards, audits, and EMR-based monitoring preferred.

Proven ability to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
