Job Description:Job Title: Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding – Mumbai

We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our freight forwarding sales function. This role demands a strategic thinker who can build strong client relationships, drive revenue, and mentor a sales team while delivering measurable business results.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and market penetration
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across air, sea, and road freight
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with importers, exporters, and logistics partners
  • Lead and mentor a small sales team, setting goals and monitoring performance
  • Collaborate with pricing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute directly to the company's bottom line
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
  • Represent the company in meetings, client presentations, and industry eventsKey Skills:Mandatory:
  • Strong industry network and knowledge of freight markets (air/sea/road)
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue generation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently with a result-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Target Industry: Freight Forwarding

Gender: Open

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding

Job Location: Ghatkopar West, Mumbai

Working Days: 5 days (Work from Home on Saturdays)

Timings: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm or 10:30 am to 7:30 pm

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (Preferred: BBA, MBA, or related field)

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
