Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies, track competitor activities, and provide insights to drive export business growth.
Mentor and guide the sales team to expand export business by onboarding overseas customers and representing the company at international exhibitions.
Manage a team of sales professionals to ensure timely achievement of sales targets.
Collect and analyze market intelligence (foreign regulations, norms, forex, pricing, competition, economy, and demographics) to support business decisions.
Monitor global market trends and gather competitor analysis from various international trade portals (e.g., Volza, ImportGenius, Panjiva, etc.) to identify opportunities and benchmark performance.
Identify and build strong relationships with new international clients; create action plans to maximize new business opportunities.
Maintain export sales databases, records, and reports for management reviews.
Oversee end-to-end export sales operations quotations, follow-ups, negotiations, and order closures.
Handle customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Ensure compliance with export processes, Incoterms, payment terms, and banking procedures.
Demonstrate excellent email and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with international customers.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in the auto components industry preferred.
Strong understanding of international sales, export operations, and business development.
Proven track record in handling export sales and growing overseas business.
Analytical mindset with strong business acumen and quick learning ability.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
